Stearns County's Sheriff's Office is offering a youth snowmobile class. This Department of Natural Resources (DNR) class will certify youth to operate a snowmobile legally on state trails. The class is open to anyone 12 years of age and older. There is room available for about 15 participants. Class dates are: Feb. 11, Feb. 18 and Feb. 26 from 6-9:30 p.m. at the Stearns County Sheriff's Office in the Law Enforcement Center (LEC) in downtown St. Cloud. The riding portion of the test will be done the morning of March 8. Location of the test will be announced during the first class. Cost for the class is $5, which is sent to the DNR to cover the cost of processing and materials.
