Kimball Library programming

The Kimball branch of Great River Regional Library is offering the following programs.

Frog Symphony Ð July 8

Children ages 3-12 are invited to the Kimball library for a presentation called "The Frog Symphony" 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 8. This presentation by staff from St. John's Arboretum involves singing, storytelling, and imitating calls of local frogs using homemade instruments. The attendance limit is 30 and preregistration is required.

Splash of Science Ð July 12

Children ages 7-12 are invited to the Kimball library for a "Splash of Science" program 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Monday, July 12. Barb Lantis, who has 30 years of experience developing children's programs, will educate and entertain children with wet and wild water experiments. The attendance limit is 20 and preregistration is required.

Color Your Beach Ball Ð July 15

Children ages 3-12 are invited to a "Color Your Own Beach Ball" program at the Kimball library 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 15. All supplies will be provided for children to color their own beach ball to take home and keep. Permanent markers will be used, so parents of young children must stay with their child. The attendance limit is 12 and preregistration is required. This program is cosponsored with the Kimball Friends of the Library.

Great River Regional Library (GRRL) provides library services at 32 public libraries in Benton, Morrison, Sherburne, Stearns, Todd and Wright Counties. It provides Central Minnesota residents with nearly 1 million books, CDs and DVDs, 250 public computers, programming and information services.
