Ridgewater College has signed Kimball's Molly Hurrle to play volleyball for the 2010 season. Hurrle, a 5'8" setter, was a member of the Kimball Area High School varsity team from 2006-2009. She was named to the Central Minnesota Conference all-conference team and was a four-year letterwinner.
"Ridgewater is elated to have Molly join our volleyball team as a student-athlete. She's a very seasoned setter who is quick to the ball and knows how to run an offense. Molly plays outstanding defense and will also be a threat from behind the service line. She is a proven leadeer and will continue to be an excellent student at Ridgewater.
Ridgewater finished the 2009 season with a 36-5 record and a third-place finish in the NJCAA Division III National Tournament. Hurrle will join Brittany VanDrehle (Melrose), Karli Wendlandt (New London-Spicer), Aimee Johnson (Yellow Medicine East) and Miranda Kostboth (Montevideo) as signed freshman for the 2010 season. The Lady Warriors will open up play at the Ridgewater Classic Friday, Aug 27.
