Agriculture students were honored at the PAS (Postsecondary Agricultural Student Organization) Awards Banquet which was held at Ridgewater College-Willmar Campus Tuesday, April 6.
Students received awards for their participation in state and national PAS contests. The state PAS contests were held in Marshall, Minn., in February and the national contests were held in St. Louis, Mo. in March.
Nathan Pramann of South Haven, the son of Lory Pramann, received the following award for state competition: Fourth Place Dairy. He also received Fifth Place Dairy Specialist Team at the national competition.
Jacob Kieke of Kimball, the son of Kevin and Julie Kieke, received the following awards for state competition: First Place Career Progress-Animal Systems-Ruminant, and Fourth Place Dairy Specialist Team. He also received the following awards at national competition: Third Place Career Progress-Animal Systems-Ruminant, and Fifth Place Dairy Specialist Team.
Alex Mueller of Kimball, the son of Charles and Judy Mueller, received First Place Career Planning-Ag Processing & Biotechnology award for state competition.
Allison Konz of Kimball, the daughter of Nick and Amy Konz, received the following awards for state competition: Second Place Dairy Specialist Team, Fourth Place Dairy Specialist Individual, and Fifth Place Career Progress-Animal Systems-Ruminant. She also received the following award at national competition: Third Place Dairy Specialist Team.
