As part of the Kimball Days Community Festival, the Kimball Area Historical Society will be sponsoring a fund raiser, "Supper in the Park," and its annual historical exhibit. Friday, Aug. 8, from 5-8 p.m., "Supper in the Park" will be held at the Willow Creek Park picnic shelter. On the menu: pulled pork sandwich (or hot dog for the kids), chips, cole slaw, bars and beverage. Cost: $6 adults; $3.50 children 10 and younger. There will be a history exhibit Friday, Aug. 8, from 4-8 p.m.; Saturday, Aug. 9, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; and Sunday, Aug. 10, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, the historical society will celebrate the 100th birthday of the Kimball City Hall with a birthday cake, and Audrey's Coffee Nook on Main Street will be selling morning rolls and coffee. Register for door prizes (need not be present to win) at the exhibit.
