'Happy Days' visited Kimball Friday night

Thirty individuals came out Friday night, March 9, for a free concert at the Kimball Area High School cafetorium. The concert, titled "Happy Days Are Here Again," was sponsored by the Kimball Public Library and the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. Singer Rhonda Laurie, who conceived of the idea for this traveling concert, belted out tunes from the 1930s, '40s and '50s. Her band included Rick Carlson on piano, Tony Balluff on clarinet, and Josh Granowski on bass. Staff photo by Jean Doran Matua.
