• Travis Gottschalk of Kimball was among 1,457 students graduating during spring commencement May 3 from South Dakota State University in Brookings, S.D. Gottschlk received a Bachelor of Science Degree in engineering. Commencement exercises wre held in Frost Arena for undergraduate and graduate students. • Kirbee Tagney of Kimball was among 273 Dordt College (Sioux Center, Iowa) students awarded diplomas at the 2008 commencement ceremony Friday, May 9, in the B.J. Haan Auditorium. Tagney, daughter of Brian and Julie Tangey, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature and Music Performance/Pedgogy.
