Tuesday, Nov. 16, the Stearns County Sheriff's Office took a report of a stolen piece of snowboard equipment from the Powder Ridge Ski Resort. Taken was a 27-foot-long top snowboard rail. The first 24 feet is flat and the last three feet slope down. The top is constructed of one and one-half-inch steel tubing, rolled on the ends and painted black and has a flat surface of clear poly plastic. The sides are constructed of five-eighth-inch plywood painted blue. There are also two slots on the sides for lifting with a fork lift. It is unknown the exact date that the rail was taken. There are no suspects as of Monday's report.
