Nearly 65 professional alumni and others converged on Kimball Area High School for the day Wednesday, Dec. 8, for Career Day. Students, both junior and senior high, could choose four sessions out of a possible 22 based on career fields. Included were medical, law enforcement, entrepreneur, engineering, construction, finance, marketing, government, computers, manufacturing, and science. Above,
"Monster" Mike Schultz kicked off Career Day in the morning. He spoke about his athletic career, and the turn it took two years ago this week after a bad snocross accident. In true champion fashion, Schultz turned tragedy into triumph by winning three medals in motocross and snocross since his accident. A new career designing high-impact, sports prosthetics has evolved as well. Staff photo by Jean Doran Matua.
