The Stearns History Museum presents Kringlefest from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5. Santa Claus will make a special appearance by the cozy confines of the Museum's historic Carnegie fireplace. He will visit with children and families to collect those special wish lists and letters to take back to the North Pole. Parents, bring your cameras for family photos with Santa in this wonderful holiday setting. Kringlefest is a great event to get the whole family into the holiday spirit.
Children can have fun with glitter and glue to make holiday crafts to take home for the holidays. Also, enjoy cookies from the Cold Spring Bakery and hot chocolate.
Check out the Museum's extravagant holiday decorations. While you are at the Museum, make sure to see the traveling exhibit "The Indelible (P)ink: The Pink Panther and Popular Culture." The exhibit has 44 original animated cells from this popular cartoon along with memorabilia. Also, new on exhibit is work by artist Charles Kapsner who has designed the murals for the Little Falls military cemetery.
