Sunday, Oct. 24
9:13 a.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report of suicidal threats on 360th Street, Eden Valley.
5:05 p.m. the Sheriff's Office assisted an individual with some questions at a residence in Watkins Trailer Park, Watkins.
8:15 p.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report of suspicious activity near a residence on County State Aid Highway 2, Watkins.
Saturday, Oct. 23
3:17 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a driving complaint, per the request of Stearns County, in the area of 700th Avenue and 335th Street, Kimball. The deputy checked the area and found that the vehicle had already left.
3:59 a.m. the Sheriff's Office observed an occupied stalled vehicle in the area of Kingston Street and 717th Avenue, Kimball. The deputy made contact with two individuals who were given warnings and advised to move on.
7:45 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a residential 9-1-1 hang up on Western Avenue, Watkins. A deputy found everything to be okay upon arrival, it was a misdial.
1:50 p.m. the Sheriff's Office observed and assisted a stalled vehicle on MN Highway 15, Kimball.
2:51 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a 9-1-1 call on Luella Street, Watkins. The deputy found everything to be okay.
5:07 p.m. the Sheriff's Office received a report of a cougar sighting that occurred on 355th Street, Watkins. The information was forwarded to the MN DNR.
11:16 p.m. the Sheriff's Office assisted the Eden Valley Police Department with a report of a fight on Brooks Street South, Eden Valley.
Friday Oct. 22
6:44 a.m. the Sheriff's Office received a report of a driving complaint south bound on MN Highway 15, Dassel. The information was transferred to the State Patrol and Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office.
11:03 a.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report of child maltreatment at a residence in the Watkins Trailer Park, Watkins.
1:16 p.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report of harassment at a residence in the Watkins Trailer Park, Watkins.
3:46 p.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report of harassment at a residence on 340th Street, Watkins.
8:33 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of possible poachers in the area of 250th Street and 743rd Avenue, Dassel. The Deputies, with the assistance of a MN DNR Officer, checked the area and found that the vehicle had already left the area.
10:50 p.m. the Sheriff's Office issued a deer possession tag permit for a deer hit near a residence on County State Aid Highway 15, Dassel.
Thursday Oct. 21
10:34 a.m. the Sheriff's Office received a cellular 9-1-1 call from the area of MN Highway 15 and 200th Street, Dassel, reporting a driving complaint south bound on MN Highway 15, Dassel. The information was transferred to the McLeod County Sheriff's Office and the Hutchinson Police.
10:58 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to an alarm at a residence on 318th Street, South Haven. The deputy was canceled a short time later as it was a false alarm.
3:17 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a property damage accident on U.S. Highway 12 and MN Highway 4, Grove City. A pickup, towing trailers full of cottonseed, had the trailers come unhooked from the vehicle and tipped over, spilling cottonseed onto the highway. There were no injuries reported. The State Patrol took the report.
3:44 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a dog complaint in the area of MN Highway 15 and 218th Street, Dassel. The dog was gone upon the deputies arrival.
4:38 p.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report of theft from a residence on MN Highway 22, Eden Valley.
Wednesday, Oct. 20
7:30 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a suspicious person in the area of Cedar Avenue and Church Street, Watkins. The person was gone upon the deputy's arrival.
9:31 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a suspicious person in the area of 4th Street North, Watkins. The party was located and advised.
12:59 p.m. a Sheriff's Deputy reported a stalled vehicle in the area of County State Aid Highway 2 and Meeker Stearns Street, Watkins. The vehicle was secured and not a road hazard.
1:44 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a suspicious vehicle at a business on MN Highway 55, Watkins. The deputy found everything to be okay.
Tuesday, Oct. 19
6:41 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a stalled vehicle on County State Aid Highway 34, Watkins. Upon the deputy's arrival the car was found to not be a road hazard and the owner was going to have it removed.
2:14 p.m. a Sheriff's Deputy reported a stalled vehicle on 667th Avenue, Watkins. The deputy spoke to the owner of the vehicle and took care of the vehicle.
5:05 p.m. the Sheriff's Office received a dog complaint from an address on Central Avenue South, Watkins. A deputy responded and found all to be okay.
6:00 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of suspicious activity near the intersection of 395th Street and 667th Avenue, Watkins. The deputy advised the party to move along.
Monday, Oct. 18
6:26 a.m. the Sheriff's Office received a 9-1-1 call from a resident at the Hilltop Care Center, Watkins. The staff was contacted and they checked on the resident and found everything to be okay.
1:13 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of an animal complaint at a residence on 365th Street, Watkins. Upon arrival of the deputy the owner of the horses removed them and the caller was advised of their options.
1:38 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a found canoe on Clear Lake, Watkins. The owner of the canoe was contacted and it was picked up.
9:45 p.m. the Sheriff's Office received a report of an animal complaint on County State Aid Highway 27, Kimball. A deputy checked the area and the cows were gone.
10:02 p.m. the Sheriff's Office dispatched Eden Valley Rescue and Watkins Ambulance to a medical at a residence on Raymond Avenue, Stearns County. One individual was transported to the
St. Cloud Hospital.
11:12 p.m. the Sheriff's Office came across an ordinance violation at the Kingston County Park, Kingston. Two individuals were warned of the park hours.
