Night out provides women with fun, health education

Indulge with friends during an evening of chocolate, massage and good health with bra-fittings, speakers and health screenings from 5-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25, at CentraCare Health Plaza. You have a chance to win fabulous gift baskets and a $50 Visa gift card to use for your own indulgences.

Health education presentations:

- What to look for in a breast center Ð more than a mammogram. Jody Bolton Smith, MD, Regional Diagnostic Radiology, will share information on how to select a site for your mammogram and why all places are not created equal.

- Sleep health: Getting your ZZZZZs. Sleep is a necessity of life. Our busy lives often interfere with sleep time impacting our health. Troy Payne, MD, St. Cloud Hospital Sleep Center, will describe the medical issues related to sleep and tips for getting a good night's rest.

- The ABCs of abnormal blood clots. What are blood clots and how are they formed? Kathleen Mahon, CNP, Central Minnesota Heart Center, will discuss risk factors, signs and symptoms, diagnosis, treatment and prevention, including travel tips to get your blood flowing.
