It was a beautiful fall day, mostly sunny but with a crisp wind, for the annual parish festival at the Church of St. Anne in Kimball. Hundreds enjoyed a polka mass, breakfast, burgers and beer, a mini farmer's market, a silent auction, kids' games and inflatables, BINGO, quilt raffle, and raffle for a long list of prizes. The parish fall festival is a sure sign that summer has come to an end. Fall officially begins today, Sept. 23. Staff photo by Marguerite Laabs.
