Triple R Grill & Bar gave a check in the amount of $2,700 to Rosalea Hoeft, director of the Catholic Charities Senior Dining Center at St. Anne's Church in Kimball, Friday, April 16.
This money was raised by holding meat raffles at the Triple R every Saturday at 2 p.m. Since this has started, Triple R has also allowed the Kimball Express, and the Kimball Area High School football team to be a part of the raffles so they can raise money for their causes.
"Giving back to the community is vital," Reinert says. "This took us only 11 weeks to raise, a lot can be said for a community helping others by looking at this total." When Triple R opened in 2007, that was one of Deb' s big pushes, to get her staff involved in donating locally, they currently are doing their 'Jean's for a Cause' every Friday for the Senior Dining also.
Deb would like to thank her staff who helped: Scott Winkelman, Tina Klein and friends Kristin Krattenmaker and Denise Krey for helping and donating their time for this event.
Remember Triple R is currently holding Meat Raffles every Saturday at 2 p.m., with meat from Knaus' Meat Market, proceeds benefiting Kimball Area High School football team, for new uniforms.
