The Kimball junior high softball team won all three games Saturday to take first place at the Royalton Tournament. The Lady Cubs defeated Royalton 10-0 in the first game, Pierz 9-2 in the second game of pool play and moved on to down Osakis 11-10 in a seven- inning thriller to take the trophy. Each player contributed in their own way for this team victory.

Lexi Rose, Shelby Schiefelbein and Stacy Hurrle pitched strong innings and added big plate appearances. Karlee Beehler, Hollie Donnay, Tessa Mackereth, Paige Ruehle, Marissa Johnson, Jaren Thell and Gracie Lantto made important plays in the field and batting. Nicole Vossen, Victoria Denn and Maddie Schreifels created opportunities on the basepaths. The girls played to the best of their abilities and were rewarded for their efforts. Congratulations and special thanks goes out to the players for their efforts, Coach Barry Strand, bus driver Linda Rose, and Joliane Schreifels for the picture.
