Fish house burglaries on Lake Ripley

Jan. 7, the Meeker County Sheriff's Office took five separate reports of fish house burglaries on Lake Ripley near Memorial Park. Items that were taken consist of fishing tackle, rods and reels, 12-volt car radio, Vexlar battery, two 12-volt car batteries, blue rhino liquid propane tank, and two fish cameras. Entry to the fish houses was made by either breaking the locks on the doors, pulling the doors open, or by breaking the window and crawling through the window. The break-ins were believed to have happened between 10 p.m. Jan. 6, and 8 a.m. Jan. 7.
