Sandra "Sandy" "Suzi" Duncan of South Haven died Dec. 30, 2009, at Hilltop Care Center in Watkins. She was 59.

There will be no reviewal or services. Burial will be private in Maine Prairie Cemetery in rural Kimball.

Sandra Inez Duncan was born Aug. 6, 1950, to Leslie A. and Gladys J. (Walkley) Duncan. She graduated from Kimball High School in 1968. She was employed for 34 years at the St. Cloud Times newspaper. She also worked three years at the Tri-County News in Kimball. Suzi was secretary for the Maine Prairie Cemetery Association for many years.

Suzi enjoyed listening to classic country music, going to concerts, playing cards with family and friends, and everything Elvis. The best time in her life was when her cousin Irene took her to Graceland in Memphis last summer.

Suzi was preceded in death by her mother in 1978 and father in 1989, and by her grandparents Edward Walkley, Alfred Duncan, and Inez (Linn/Walkley) Duncan.

She is survived by her sister Tammy Sue Duncan; "adopted" parents Clarence and Gertie Scheeler of Kimball, and by aunts, cousins, and many friends, as well as her dog Mickey and her goat Tucker.

In lieu of flowers, Suzi asked that any memorials be directed to her surviving sister: Tammy Sue Duncan, 6998 140th St., South Haven MN 55382.
