The Kimball Bloodmobile was held Thursday, Aug. 14, at the Kimball Area High School cafetorium. Our goal was 60 units of blood. There were 57 people present to donate. Three people were deferred; no incomplete donations. Because of six people donating double units, Kimball had a total of 60 units donated. Double-unit donations were from Kelly Donabauer, Kurt Eisenbraun, Joseph Lauermann,
Willie Looman, Bill Thell and Jim Unterberger. First-time donor was 17-year-old Ryan Stein. Four-gallon pins went to Reuben Hendrickson and Jim Unterberger. Many thanks to all who participated to make this drive successful. Special thanks to the Tri-County News for the coverage once again. Thank you to the American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 261, for their sponsorship and providing the meal for the Red Cross. The next Bloodmobile will be Jan. 20, 2009.
