The Annandale Area Public Library is offering a story time series called "Let's Eat Words" for preschool through early elementary aged children ages 3-6. "Let's Eat Words" will take place every second and fourth Tuesday, 10-10:45 a.m., June 10-Aug. 26. Each program will have its own theme, such as "It's a Birthday Cake," "Soup's On," and "Pasta Party." The children will hear stories that relate to the theme, such as "Stone Soup," and "Froggy Bakes a Cake." This programming is sponsored by Annandale Area Friends of the Library. Annandale Area Public Library hours are: Mondays 2-5 p.m.; Tuesdays 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and 2-5 p.m.; Wednesdays 2-8 p.m.; Fridays 9 a.m.-noon and 2-5 p.m.; and Saturdays 9 a.m.-noon.
