With the weather we have been having, it's hard not to start thinking of spring and planning for your garden! Consider learning more about gardening topics at the workshop Gardening Knowledge for Free. This workshop will be held at the Whitney Sr. Center from 8-11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25. This is a great opportunity to get out of the doldrums of winter and start thinking about the joys, colors, and activities of spring and summer!
Gardening Knowledge for Free is a workshop put on by the University of Minnesota Extension Master Gardeners of Stearns County. This is a free workshop for any gardener who wants to learn more. This year, the Master Gardeners of Stearns County, will be presenting on a variety of topics including: Growing blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries, Starting seeds indoors, Choosing small shrub roses, Low input lawn care, Gardening to attract butterflies, and The many faces of Hosta.
