Schiefelbein sisters winners at speech contest

Shelby, Abbey and Bailee Schiefelbein participated in the National Cattlemen's Public Speaking Contest in Nashville, Tenn. There were more than 220 youth registered in the various contests. Shelby Schiefelbein placed fourth with her speech in the age division of 15-19. Shelby's speech was "Putting Common Sense Back in Government Regulations." Abbey Schiefelbein placed second in the age division of 11-14. Abbey's speech showed the "Many Uses of Beef By-products." Bailee Schiefelbein placed second in the age division of 10 and under. Bailee's speech was on "Beef in the School Lunch Program." The awards are sponsored by Farm Credit.
