St. Cloud State offers project management course



Corporate Education and Outreach ("CEO") in St. Cloud State University's Center for Continuing Studies is offering Project Management Essentials, a course designed to provide attendees the knowledge, skills and techniques to manage projects in a successful way.

The course will include an introduction to project management, the various processes involved in project management and how to manage project time, risk and communications. It will include development of a work breakdown structure, activity sequencing, case study analysis and other short learning exercises.

Hiral Shah will be the presenter. She has more than six years of experience in project management, is a Project Management Professional and has been actively involved with the Project Management Institute as a subject matter expert.

Project Management Essentials, Level 1, is being held from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, and Friday, Feb. 17, at the St. Cloud State University Welcome Center. The cost of the class is $499 if registered by Feb. 3, or $525 for registrations after.
