Starz of Tomorrow still has openings for the Parent/Child Camp. This Saturday is going to be a fun-filled day at Faber Field.
The Parent/Child Clinic is from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. this Saturday, May 7. This is a specialty one-day clinic that is open to all players 12-year-olds and younger and their Dads, uncles, older brothers ... we even had some Moms come out last year with their sons. (And they had better baseball skills than most of the Dads!) Following the clinic, the group is provided a "baseball lunch" of hot dogs, chips, cookie and pop and they receive free admission to the SCSU Huskies baseball game vs. Concordia St. Paul. The cost is $25.
The Huskies are currently 33-8 and ranked #1 in the Central Plains Regional and #13 in the NCAA DII polls. This is the Huskies last home game of the regular season on May 7. The fun-filled day at Faber Field will include the annual Baseball Card/Wax Pack Pick Up and running the bases with the Huskies. One lucky fan will win a "Diamond on the Diamond," sponsored by Riddles Jewelry. This is going to be an exciting atmosphere, being that is also Alumni and Parents Day. There will be numerous promotions throughout the whole game with prizes given away between innings.
If you would like a brochure on either clinic, feel free to e-mail me at
