Lady tracksters hold their own

The EV-W-K girls' track team competed at Sauk Rapids-Rice Thursday, April 21, on a cold/rainy and blistery day. The weather did not hinder performances of many of the ladies as 11 athletes scored against much larger schools. Competing at the event were Sauk Rapids-Rice, Monticello, Rocori, and Holdingford. Many girls tried new events and despite the cold and rain many personal bests were achieved yet again.

Shot Put Ð Shawny Kramer first place 34' 3"

Discus Ð Shawny Kramer first place 114' 0", Casey Schlangen third Place 92' 6"

Long Jump Ð Morgan Meyer second place 14' 11.75", Brittany Hesse fifth Place 13' 10.25"

Pole Vault Ð Sam Stuve t-third place 8' 0"

Note: With a throw of 34' 3" Shawny Kramer is now qualified for the State Honor Role in the Shot Put.
