Santa Paws photos to aid Humane Society

The Tri-County Humane Society’s 28th Annual Santa Paws holiday portrait session fundraiser is coming to town Nov. 22-24. For only $35, You will receive 5 professional, high-resolution digital photos on one CD, giving you the ability to edit your pictures at home and e-mail them to friends and family. Call (320) 252-0896 to schedule your appointment.

Photos may be taken with people and/or pets, with or without Santa. Large groups may be accomodated. Photos will be taken in the Tri-County Humane Society’s Training Facility behind the shelter, located at 735 8th St. NE St. Cloud, MN 56304.


Nov. 22: Where Were You?

50th Anniversary of John F. Kennedy Assassination

Nov. 22, marks the 50th Anniversary of President John F. Kennedy’s assassination. The Stearns
History Museum is commemorating JFK by holding a round table event on Friday, Nov. 22, at 1 p.m. where memories of that day will be shared. We encourage you to write down your memories, or those of your family members, of that fateful day and submit your personal narrative to the Stearns History Museum. Staff will post every submission on our website and 10 narratives will be chosen for the round table event. The deadline to submit your story is Nov. 11. If you do not want to be considered as a finalist at the round table event, please indicate that on your entry. This event is free to members, non-members $5. Refreshments will be served. 


Dec. 6: Holiday Fundraiser Party

The Camps of Courage and Friendship Auxiliary invite you to attend their Annual Holiday Fundraising Party at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, at the Camp Friendship Dining Hall, 10509–108th Street NW, Annandale. The evening features hors d’oevures and a dessert buffet, wine and beer sampling by Coborns, 50-50 drawing event (last year $1,000 was given back in prizes), more than 100 silent auction baskets and door prizes. All proceeds benefit programs for children and adults with disabilities. Advance tickets are $20 and are recommended as tickets may be limited at the door. Nov. 2: Eagles’ Auxiliary craft sale

The Eagles’ Auxiliary are planning a craft sale for 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at the Eagles Club, 41st and Veterans Drive (8th Street North) in St. Cloud, next to CentraSota.

The sale will include homemade bread, rolls, cookies and jellies. Coffee, rolls and cookies will be served from 9-11 a.m., and lunch will be served from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
