Lois Johnson, 66

Lois Johnson died Monday, Dec. 13, 2013. She was 66.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 15, at Grace Lutheran Church in rural South Haven with Pastor Michael Nelson officiating. Grace Lutheran Church is three miles west of the French Lake Store.

Lois Rebecca Johnson was born Jan. 7, 1947, to Ray and Ella Feeder.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Alfred; and one son at birth.

She is survived by her children Melanie Souther, Troy Johnson, adopted sons Joel and Jamie Johnson; sister Shirley DeWitt; brothers Rev. David Feeder, and James Feeder; and four grandchildren.

Michael Loch, 65

W-Loch-MichaelMichael Loch of Kimball died Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at his home with his family at his side. He was 65.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 3, at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Kimball with Pastor Orval Wirkkala officiating. Burial will follow at Maine Prairie Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7:30 p.m. Friday, and one hour prior to the service Saturday, both at the funeral chapel. There will be a Legion prayer service Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral chapel.


Mark Connelly, 57

Mark Connelly, formerly of Minneapolis, and formerly of Kimball, died Jan. 7, 2014, at Hope Hospice in Cape Coral, Fla. He was 57.w-MarkConnelly

A memorial service will be held at noon Friday, May 23, at Washburn-McReavy Crystal Lake Chapel in Minneapolis. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.


Jackie Boulton, 38

Jackie Boulton of Watkins died Saturday, April 19, 2014, from injuries incurred in an automobile accident. She was 38.W-Jackie-Boulton757391

Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 28, at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Watkins. Friends called from 4-8 p.m. Sunday and from 9-10:30 a.m. Monday, both at the St. Anthony Catholic Church. Knights of Columbus prayed the rosary at 4 p.m. Sunday, followed by parish prayers at 7:30 p.m. at the church. Interment was in the St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery.


Robert ‘Bob’ Ertl, 57

Robert “Bob” Ertl of Watkins died Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at the St. Cloud Hospital following a short battle with cancer. He was 57.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 25, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Watkins with Fr. Jerome Naduvathaniyil and Fr. Richard Gross officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, and from 9-10 a.m. Friday at the Ertl Funeral Home. Interment will be in the St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery.
