The St. Nicholas Parish plans their fall breakfast for Sunday, Oct. 27.
They will serve from 9 a.m. to noon. The menu includes sausage, scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, French toast with toppings, rolls, fruit, juice, milk, and coffee. Cost is $7 for adults, $5 for ages 5-10, and preschoolers are free. There will also be a bake sale and a raffle.
For women of the ELCA Crow River Conference
The Fall Gathering of the ELCA Crow River Conference Women will be held Tuesday evening, Oct. 29, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Annandale.
Registration begins at 4:30 p.m. followed by supper, special music, and a business meeting. Pastor Linda Pedersen, ELCA SWMN Synod minister will be the guest speaker as she tells of her trip to Romania to locate long-lost relatives. Pastor Tom Heyd of St. John’s will share his talent as a ventriloquist.

You are invited to a celebration of life party for Ronald Wendroth. He was recently diagnosed with cancer. His children would like him to celebrate his life with his many family members and friends at Church of God in Eden Valley, Minn., from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13. Please bring your fun memories, pictures and just your friendship and love. We would love to share this special day with you. He is now in the Hilltop Health Care Center in Watkins with Mom.

The Dassel Area Historical Society is again hosting their annual New England Pot Roast Dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, at the Evangelical Covenant Church, 301 Lake Street East in Dassel.
This, their 16th year, they are serving roast beef, potatoes, vegetables, coleslaw, homade bread and desserts and beverages. Dinner tickets are $10 for adults,
$5 for children 5-11, and age 4 and younger are free.
The event is to benefit Dassel History Center, home of the Ergot Museum.
