KAHS Band Burgers Oct. 24

The Kimball Area High School Band and Mom's Place in South Haven are planning a "Build your Own Band Burger" night from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, at Mom's Place. The proceeds of the evening will go toward the KAHS Band's trip to Chicago this spring.

The cost will be $7.95 for adults and $6.50 for seniors and children under 12, to load up a burger with all your favorite fixings, while supporting our Kimball Area High School Band.

EV Senior Citizens catered dinner Oct. 30

Eden Valley Senior Citizens will have a catered chicken dinner for members at 4;30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, at the Civic Center. This will follow the regular meeting and games starting at 1 p.m.

Price is $6 per meal. reservations and payment can be made by Oct. 23, to Mary Lou Ruhland (320) 453-5115, or Jean Smoley (320) 453-2053.

New members are welcome. Dues are $2 annually. We meet weekly on Tues. 1-2 p.m.

NOTE-We will not meet on Tuesday, Nov. 6,-election day

New office, new phone number

We are delighted to announce that we have an office at 378 State Street North (on main street) in Eden Valley. Our Eden Valley phone number is (320) 453-NEWS (-6397).

Our Eden Valley office is staffed from 10-6 Mondays-Fridays and 9-noon Saturdays, for now by staff of the Schmitt Insurance Agency, the primary occupants of the building.
