Knaus celebrates 100 years

Estimates are that about 350 people came out last Thursday-Saturday to help the Knaus family celebrate the 100th anniversary of Knaus Sausage House on Main Street in Kimball.

Eagles' Cry wins two awards

EV-W's student newspaper Eagles' Cry recently brought home two awards.

The paper received a plaque and the honor rating of second class from the National Student Press Association's Publication Critique Service and a bronze award from Journalism Educators of Minnesota.

Meet the Candidate Night Oct. 22

Monday, Oct. 22, the Kimball Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a Meet the Candidate Night at the KAHS cafetorium.

Candidates will have three minutes each to present background and qualifications. Each candidate will be asked three or four questions that will be provided upon arrival that evening.
