With the weather much improved, the girls played a double header, and the result was a split decision, with W-IMG 3596Kimball taking the opener, 11-7, and Eden Valley- Watkins capturing the finale, 10-3. “We resumed our game with the Cubs, which was suspended yesterday, and we came up on the short end of the double-dip. Kimball pounded out 14 hits, combined with five errors, and we found ourselves in too big a hole to get out of. We did have a chance, with the tying runner getting to the plate in the bottom of the sixth, but we could not keep the rally going,” Coach Dave Dziengel said.
