Sauk Centre area possible scam

Residents near Sauk Centre have reported concerns about some door-to-door sales people selling cleaning products. The residents claim that the sellers demonstrate a cleaning product, but the item they then purchase is not the same as the demonstrated product. The checks were cashed immediately and the seller has not returned to reconnect with the purchasers as promised.

Sheriff’s Officials have not determined if a crime has occurred, but urge residents to be cautious before making any purchases from vendors that they are not familiar with.
