Nov. 17: Art and author event at EV Area Library

The Eden Valley Area Friends of the Library are pleased to present their first Art Show at 12 noon Sunday, Nov. 17, in the Event Center. Art demonstrations and showings will run noon until
2 p.m., resuming after author, Dean Urdahl presents his latest book Conspiracy – the story of events leading up to the assassination of President Lincoln.

Nov. 2: Digital Photography Class at Annandale Library

Adults and teens 12 and older may register for a Basic Digital Photography class at the Annandale Public Library  9:30-
11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, The class will be presented by professional nature photographer John Pennoyer, whose images have been published in many national and regional publications. The attendance limit is 24. This program is funded in part with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

EV Area Library seeks a few more Friends

Trick or Treat Storytime at Annandale Library

Children ages 3-12 are invited to the Annandale Public Library for a Trick or Treat Storytime from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22. Children will enjoy fun, spooky stories, songs and a Halloween treat. The attendance limit is 24 and preregistration is required. Contact:  (320) 274-8448.


Eden Valley Area Library to close temporarily

Because of construction and the lack of a sidewalk, for patron- and volunteer-safety concerns, Eden Valley Area Library will be closed until the new sidewalk is in place. We appreciate everything you all have gone through to visit us through the construction period. Hope to see you in a few weeks. If you have materials due, please enjoy them until we re-open.

Future library business

Sunday, Nov. 17, from noon to 4 p.m., we will celebrate our library’s first-year anniversary with a visiting author and local artist fair. We are looking for local artists to display, demonstrate, and/or sell their items. Included but not limited to; jewelry makers, sketching, spinning, painting, pottery, poets, etc., $10 per space.
