The Kimball Area Dollars for Scholars will be meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, to decide the future of the organization. Because of the National Dollars for Scholars, IRS changes and declining interest from the community and parents, our organization is struggling to stay alive. Kimball Area Dollars for Scholars members will be meeting with donors and any community individuals and parents that want to help with the future of our organization.
With only eight members and three of these members stepping down, our organization needs help. Kimball Area Dollars for Scholars future will depend on the attendance at this meeting. So come join us and let us hear from you if our organization is an important part of the Kimball community. If unable to attend, and you would like to voice your concerns, let us know by calling Maureen at (320) 398-2539.
