The Kingston Lions would like to thank all who supported the blood drive held in Kingston Tuesday, Oct. 15. The goal was 57 pints, 56 were collected.
A special time was when three generation of one family were donating at the same time.
Marilyn Howk, grandmother on the right, Lisa Rokala, daughter in the middle and giving blood is granddaughter, Debbie Rokala. Marilyn and Lisa had completed their donation, Debbie took a longer time because she volunteered to do “double red”. Thanks again to all, hope to see you next year.
The overwhelming support has been awesome since the passing of Dawson. Your thoughts, prayers and support will be long remembered as we adjust in the days ahead. We are amazed at the impact Dawson had as he lived in our little community. You all out there will likewise be remembered for your thoughtfulness.

Thank you to Marc Berris for the presentation “Autism Awareness for First Responders,” Monday, Sept. 30, at the Watkins Elementary School. This was hosted by the Watkins Ambulance &
Rescue Squad. As a speaker and presenter, Marc was very informative, being the father of a son with autism.
Thanks to EV-W school for the use of the building. Thanks goes also to Jeannie Geislinger and Adam Teicher for assistance; and to the EMS volunteers for attending to learn more about Autism Spectrum Disorder, and the people you help.
We want to thank the Litchfield McDonald’s for the beverage they provided.
