The Fairhaven Old Settlers Picnic Association would like to give a huge “thank you” to everyone who attended this year’s Old Settlers Day celebration. This year was a complete new volunteer team, and everyone came together and worked really hard to make it happen. To all of those volunteers, I give a very special “thank you.” Also, “thank you” to the Fairhaven Lions Club who also stepped in and helped out to make this day a success.
Winners of the cash raffle were

We want to express our thanks to everyone who helped in any way to make our Picnic in the Park a success!
We thank people who came to enjoy the day, workers and donors, and everyone. We appreciated it.
And last, we have to thank the good Lord for providing us with such a wonderful day – weatherwise. It was beautiful.

We would like to thank everyone who remembered us with prayers, cards, gifts, and flowers after the passing of Lorraine Klein. The wonderful care and professional services of Tom Ertl and his staff, and Fr. Jerome and Fr. Dick for their visits with Lorraine at Hilltop and funeral services were greatly appreciated. Thanks also to the parish members for their prayers at the wake, and to the St. Bernard’s parish circle who served lunch after the funeral.
A heartfelt thanks also goes to the staff and volunteers at Hilltop Health Care Center and special volunteer, Lona Brutger. Your care and friendship are greatly appreciated. God Bless you all.

The Watkins Ambulance Service would like to thank the Watkins Elementary teachers andschool for allowing us to bring our ambulance to the school to give the children a chance to see the inside of an ambulance and what we as EMTs do on the Ambulance Service. We hope this gives the children a chance to see the ambulance before a need arises, that they will find a bit of comfort to know a little bit about what is in the back of the ambulance.
The family of Jackie (Welle) Boulton would like to thank all our extended families, friends, co-workers, and neighbors for the many cards, telephone calls, flowers, food items, donations, and prayers that we have received. Everyone’s kindness was extremely appreciated during this very difficult time.
