I would like to thank all the people who included me on the prayer line during my hip surgery, and all those who sent cards of support.
Thanks much to Dr. Mulder and his St. Cloud staff and the therapy folks at Meeker Memorial Hospital in Litchfield for the great care while in rehab.
And I especially want to thank my daughter for taking care of me the past few weeks.
All is good, so thank you all.

The Fairhaven Lions would like to thank everyone who bought tickets for the canoe and quilt raffle this past year. We finally had the
drawing on Saturday, Sept. 28, at our annual 500 dinner held at Generations Ballroom in Kimball. Winner of the canoe and trailer are Mr. and Mrs. Tony Perkl of Elk River. Winner of the quilt was Gretchen Carlson of Champlin.
We congratulate them, and again, a big thank you to all who bought tickets. We greatly appreciate your support.

The family of Regina Schutz would like to express our sincere thanks to all those who assisted us in any way during our mother’s sudden illness and funeral. Thanks to all those who provided gifts, brought food for the wake or funeral, contributed in any way, or took time to visit with us. Thanks also to the Assumption Church Guild for preparing and serving the luncheon. Thank you to Bruce and Deb of Williams Dingmann Funeral Home for gently assisting us with arrangements, to Fr. Julius and Fr. Jerome for meaningful memorial services and funeral Mass, and to the musicians for the wonderful music. We, especially, want to acknowledge the exceptional care given to Regina by the staff of the Paynesville Area Hospital, Assumption Home in Cold Spring and the care and support provided by Rice Hospice. You were a blessing to all of us.
