At Thanksgiving time and all year through, Rural Stearns Faith in Action gives thanks for its wonderful caring volunteers who faithfully serve the community, and we are very grateful.
The annual Halloween Party held Oct. 26, at the Kimball Legion Post 261 was a great success. We would like to thank all the parents who brought their kids out to have fun. The count was 52 this year.Also, thank you Tim Diffley for the music.
Our door prize winners were Lilly Merrill of Clearwater, and Tanner Isensee of Kimball.
Thank you again and hope to see you all again next year.

I would like to thank all the people who included me on the prayer line during my hip surgery, and all those who sent cards of support.
Thanks much to Dr. Mulder and his St. Cloud staff and the therapy folks at Meeker Memorial Hospital in Litchfield for the great care while in rehab.
And I especially want to thank my daughter for taking care of me the past few weeks.
All is good, so thank you all.

The Fairhaven Lions would like to thank everyone who bought tickets for the canoe and quilt raffle this past year. We finally had the
drawing on Saturday, Sept. 28, at our annual 500 dinner held at Generations Ballroom in Kimball. Winner of the canoe and trailer are Mr. and Mrs. Tony Perkl of Elk River. Winner of the quilt was Gretchen Carlson of Champlin.
