“Thank you” to Mrs. Bauerly and Mrs. Bernardy (sixth-grade teachers at Kimball Elementary) and to Mr. Nemec and Ms. Toppson (sixth-grade student teachers) for all your hard work this year. Sixth grade is such a formative year, and you all helped to make this year memorable.
“Thank you” to all the parent volunteers who helped to make each event this year both fun and safe.
And “thank you” to everyone who worked so hard to put together a lovely graduation ceremony and the pot-luck celebration afterward. It’s amazing how many lives are intertwined with this bodacious Kimball Class of 2019!

The American Red Cross visited Eden Valley on Wednesday, May 15. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped out in your own special way.
Thank you to the Legion and the Legion Auxiliary for serving in the canteen and picking up the tab for the snacks. Thank you to the members of the Church of God for serving the meal for the workers. Thanks to the American Dairy Association for the donation of the butter and cheese. Thank you to all who helped advertise; the Tri-County News, EV-W Voice, other local papers, marquee, churches, local businesses, radio and television stations.
On Thursday, May 16, we held a fishing class called “School of Fish” to teach young kids and a couple of adults the basics of fishing. We had a great turnout with 34 students. Each student received a rod and reel, tackle box, T-shirt, and more. This class was possible through equal donations from the Kimball Rod & Gun Club, Kimball Fire Department, Kimball Lions, and Kimball Legion. A HUGE “Thank You” goes out to these organizations for helping put this on. We look forward to doing it again next year!
Congratulations to the Kimball Senior Choir for a fantastic performance in their concert Sunday evening, May 19.
Thank you so much to the seniors: Summer Swaisgood, Kaylyn Mancini, Logan Bartholomew, Camen Markgraf, Nessa Dahle, and Blake Fox for the beautiful yellow roses and candy. It’s been great having most of you for students since kindergarten.
Also thanks to the choir for the dozen red roses and gift card to the Olive Garden. You are the most amazing choir I could ever dream of directing.
Special thanks to the “Boosters” for their financial help for the transportation to the Chanhassen Theater. It was a fabulous experience for all the students to tour the theater and see how a large production is made, be on the stage, visit the seamstress for the wardrobe to see how the costumes are made, etc., and then have a fantastic lunch and see the musical “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.” What a wonderful day.
Thank you so much!
