Kuechle-Simmons

Arthur and Margaret Kuechle of Watkins, Minn., are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter Nancy to Kevy Simmons, son of Timothy and DeeAnne Simmons of Eagle, Idaho.W-Kuechle-engagement-photo

Nancy is a 2005 graduate of Eden Valley-Watkins High School, a 2008 graduate of College of St. Benedict, and a 2012 graduate of Southern College of Optometry. She is currently employed as an optometrist at Dr. Ambo and Associates in Issaquah, Washington.

Kevy is a 2003 graduate of Eagle High School, a 2007 graduate of Seattle Pacific University, and a 2012 graduate of Pacific University College of Optometry.  He is currently employed as a pediatric optometrist at Northwest Pediatric Eye Care in Bellevue, Wash.

The couple met while on internship at the Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation in Bethel, Alaska.

A Sept. 21, 2013, wedding is planned at Assumption Catholic Church in Eden Valley, Minn.

Haag-Mueller

Angie Haag and Chad Mueller of St. Joseph, Minn., are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.W-Haag Mueller-Engagement-0026-not-cropped

Angie is the daughter of David and Jeanne Haag of Richmond, Minn. She is a graduate of Eden Valley-Watkins High School and Fergus Falls Community College, and is employed by the City of Cold Spring as an administrative assistant.

Chad is the son of Mike and Bonnie Mueller of Cold Spring. He is a graduate of Rocori High School, and is employed by Merit Drywall as a drywall finisher.

The couple will be married Aug. 24, 2013, at Koronis Ministries in Paynesville.

Konz-Arnhold

Nick and Amy Konz of Kimball are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter Nicole Konz to Chad Arnhold, son of Ken Arnhold W-Konz Arnhold-Paper-Announcementand Jill Arnhold. 

Nicole and Chad are both graduates of Kimball Area High School class of 2006. Nicole graduated in 2011 from St. Catherine‚Äôs University with a Master of Arts degree in Occupational Therapy. She is employed at Regions Hospital in St. Paul within the mental health department. Chad is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science at University of St. Thomas, and is employed at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. 

A wedding celebration will be held Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013.

Huberty-Bjornberg engagement

W-Christy-Huberty-141Christy Huberty and Nick Bjornberg are excited to announce their upcoming marriage Sept. 7, 2013, at Green Lake Bible Camp Chapel in Spicer, Minn.

Christy is the daughter of Leon Huberty and the late Anna Mae Huberty of Watkins. She is a 2003 graduate of Eden-Valley Watkins Secondary and a 2007 graduate of Southwest Minnesota State University. She is employed by Life-Science Innovations in Willmar as an accountant. 

Nick is the son of Allan and Linda Bjornberg of Willmar. He is a 2000 graduate of Willmar Senior High School and a 2005 graduate of North Dakota State University. He is self-employed as a farmer.

Borman-Robertson

W-BormanRobertsonEd and Rose Borman of Kimball are excited to announce the engagement of their daughter Abby to Joey Robertson, son of Tony Robertson of Watkins, and Leah Tompkins of Milaca.

Abby is a 2011 graduate of Kimball Area High School. She has her A.A. Degree from SCTCC, and will continue her education at the University of California, Irvine, in pursuit of a degree in the legal field.

Joey is a 2009 graduate of Kimball Area High School and is an active duty U.S. Marine, currently stationed at Camp Pendleton in California with the First Light Armored Recon Battalion as a mortarman.

The wedding date is set for July 20, 2013, at Holy Cross Church in Pearl Lake/Marty.
