Nobel Shadduck Fall Festival at Pioneer Park

With the fall season on our doorsteps, Minnesota Pioneer Park of Annandale will be happy to celebrate the season at our Nobel Shadduck Fall Festival with you and your families and friends from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28. We have a day packed full of artisans and re-enactors doing their pioneer crafts such as,

• Bee Keeping/Master Gardener 10-11,

• Soo Line Caboose Historian, Ole Olson with his Traveling Trunk Show with special show time throughout the day,

• Barn Machinery Demos

• Kids Games all day,

• Spinning

• A real Blacksmith demoing,

• Chair Caning

• The new doctor is in town that day too, and our very own undertaker with his horse drawn hearse.

We will have musical entertainment with Gary and Janet Cobus of Seldom Herd Bluegrass Band from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and special guest Charlie Roth and his Magical Mystical one-man band from 1 to 3 p.m.  Charlie has traveled through Europe, writes his own songs about life in the country of Minnesota and life in general.

There will be Cream Can Beef Stew served with a fresh baked bun, a piece of cake and a drink. There will be other concessions available.

Gate Admission is $6 adults, $5 seniors, $4 students and children
5 and under are free.

We are located just east of Annandale on Highway 55, across the railroad tracks (south side of 55).
