St. Wendelin’s breakfast Sept. 29

St. Wendelin’s parish of Luxemburg will serve an all-you-can-eat breakfast at Mary Hall from 8:30 a.m.-noon Sunday, Sept. 29.
The menu includes ham and
cheese omelets, sausage, potatoes, applesauce, sweet rolls, toast, and beverages. Adults are $7, children ages 5-12 are $4, and children ages 4 and under are free. A bake sale and raffle drawing will also take place. Everyone is welcome.

St. Anne's parish fall festival was Sunday, Sept. 15

Saint Anne looks on as families from around the area gathered for the last church festival of the season: St. W-DSCF1882Anne’s Fall Festival in Kimball. Wouldn’t you know the rains we’ve waited on for weeks came the night before the festival? It may have dampened the ground, but not the spirits. Watch here next week for results of the raffle. Assumption Parish Fall Beef Dinner Oct. 6

Assumption Parish in Eden Valley plans their Fall Beef Dinner for 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6.

The menu includes roast beef, mashed potatoes/gravy, coleslaw, corn, dinner rolls, homemade pies, coffee, and milk. Take-out is available.

Prices are $8 for adults, $4 for ages 5-11, and ages 4 and under are free.

Parkinsons support Sept. 24

A support group for people with Parkinsons and their care partners is being started in Kingston at the Kingston Apostolic Lutheran Church. The initial meeting is at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24. This meeting will be facilitated by Heidi Olson, who is a Registered Nurse and has been involved with Parkinsons support groups for 20 years. The church is located at 71580 CSAH 27 in Kingston.
