Girl Scouts have a great event coming up for women and girls Saturday, April 12, at the
St. Cloud River’s Edge Convention Center. Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin Lakes and Pines serves girls and adult volunteers in all of these communities.
Kaleidoscope is a women and girls’ event filled with inspiration, laughter, and learning.Conference and banquet are $50, conference only is $35 and banquet only is $25.

The Augustana Auxiliary is hosting the Spring Fling at Ecumen of Litchfield. Brunch from 8:30-10 a.m. is $5.50 in the Gloria Dei Dining Room. Eveyone is welcome. The Gift Shop opens at 8:30 a.m. and features a 10 percent discount.

The Central Lakes Snowmobile Club is having a workers party 6-8 p.m. Saturday, March 29, at the Pearl Lake Lodge. Call Nick Vossen for more information (320) 292-0090. That same night, we are having a Meat Raffle starting at
8 p.m. and going until the 12 raffles are gone, and selling chances for new snowmobile coats, too. Then, starting at 9 p.m. we are going to be giving away door prizes to people that are present, and finishing off the night with our drawing at 10 p.m. We are selling our raffle tickets for $10/each with a chance to win $1,500/$500/2-$100 prizes. Need not be present to win the raffle cash prizes, so call Nick Vossen if you want a chance at the big prizes.

Five Lions members were presented awards at the recent Lions meeting. They are (Left to Right), Pam Schindele - 20-year membership, Judy Dahle - Melvin Jones Award, Larry Matthiesen - 15-year membership, Pam Matthiesen - 15-year membership, and Alice Borchert - 10-year membership.

The Johnson Kelly Post 483 Auxiliary of Kingston met Tuesday, Feb. 25, with six members present because of the weather. The meeting was called to order by president Micki Turja.
Membership: We lost three members in the last two months.
Junior Auxiliary has met two times and they enjoy it very much. Any girl ages 0-18 may become a Junior Auxiliary member if your father, grandfather or uncle served in the service, you are eligible. If interested, contact Sandy at (320) 398-8025.
Dues for 2014-2015 will be the same as last year, senior members are $25, junior members are $5.
Annual reports are due April 15, 2014.
