Edward Pramann of Clearwater died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at St. Cloud Hospital. He was 79.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 8, at Zion United Methodist Church in South Haven with Pastor Ruth Hograbe officiating. Burial will be at Zion Cemetery in South Haven. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Sunday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Kimball, and one hour prior to the service Monday at the church. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Edward Henry Pramann was born Sept. 27, 1933, at home in Fairhaven Township to Edward and Elsie (Schram) Pramann. He graduated in 1951 from Kimball High School. He married Jeanette Triebel April 10, 1954, at Concordia Lutheran Church in Fairhaven. Ed farmed all of his life, and he loved what he did. He enjoyed being outdoors, riding four-wheeler, playing cards, and farming.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents, brother Warren, and sisters Lorraine Bechtel and Kathleen Pramann.
He is survived by his wife Jeanette; children Gary (and Joyce) Pramann of South Haven, Mark (and Laura) Pramann of Shoreview, Joan (and Evy) Heinen of South Haven, Rudy (and Jan) Pramann of Clearwater, Tom (and Jeanne) Pramann of Castlewood, S.D., and Randy Pramann of Shakopee; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; brother Robert Pramann of Big Bear Lake, Calif.; sisters Elsie Player of Rancho Cordova, Calif., Fern Wittenberg of South Haven, and Bernice (and Paul) Zweig of Shoreview; and sister-in-law Shirley Pramann of New Hope.
Pallbearers will be Christopher, Joseph, Nicholas, Brian and Zachary Pramann, and Kody Schmidt. Jamie Miller will provide music for the service.
