This was the message of a mock crash demonstration at Kimball Area High School Monday afternoon, Sept. 24.

Distracted driving - including but not limited to texting - causes accidents every day. Several young people in our area have been in accidents, some have died, because of distracted driving. Kimball police, Kimball Fire & Rescue, Watkins Ambulance, LifeFlight, Stearns County Sheriff's Office (Bob Dickhaus), and Dingmann's Funeral Care teamed up to impress upon our students that they don't want another preventable fatality.
