Schiefelbein receives award

4-H Outstanding Volunteer Award

Jennifer Schiefelbein, of Kimball, is the recipient of the 2012 Minnesota 4-H Outstanding Volunteer Award. This prestigious award is given to a nominated volunteer only once in a lifetime. This award not only recognizes the contributions Jennifer has made to the Meeker County and Minnesota 4-H program, but to other programs in the Kimball community as well.

Jennifer volunteers in several different capacities in the community, including: Partners In Education president, Kimball Friends of the Library president, confirmation teacher at her church, Vacation Bible School Coordinator at her church, Kimball Food Shelf volunteer, 4-H Exchange Group Leader, and has been a volunteer at Kimball Elementary School. Jennifer has been one of the Kimball Kruisers' 4-H Club's key leaders for the past nine years. As a former 4-H participant in her youth, Jennifer became involved with the Kimball Kruisers 4-H Club when her daughters: Shelby, Abbey, and Bailee were eligible to participate.

The members of the Kimball Kruisers are proud of their leader, Jennifer, for being selected Minnesota 4-H's Outstanding Volunteer Award recipient. She embodies the aspects of 4-H, exceeds volunteer expectations, and works continuously to enrich the lives and experiences of area youth.
