Nicholas "Nick" Phillipp of Eden Valley died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012, in Eden Valley. He was 21.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, at the Church of Our Lady, Manannah with Msgr. Francis Garvey officiating. Relatives and friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13, at the church and one hour prior to Mass Tuesday, also at the church. Parish prayers will be prayed at 6 p.m. Monday at the church.
Nicholas "Nick" L. Phillipp was born June 27, 1991, in Litchfield to Tim Phillipp and Mary McCann. He is a 2010 graduate of Eden Valley-Watkins High School. Nick worked as a tree trimmer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and clowning around. Nick loved to laugh and joke with friends and family.
Nick was preceded in death by his uncle Joe McCann; and grandmothers Evelin McCann and Mary Lou Phillipp.
Nick is survived by his parents Tim and Mary of Eden Valley; siblings Alex of Eden Valley, Samantha of Eden Valley, and Kristin of Eden Valley; nephew Ethan; grandfathers Eldred Phillip of Paynesville, and Richard "Dick" McCann of Eden Valley; aunts and uncles Deb (and Allan) Lang of Eden Valley, Jack (and Jackie) McCann of Grove City, Julann (and Barry) Albright of Paynesville, Barb (and Rick) Laidlaw of Grove City, Rich McCann of Manannah, Bill (and Terri) McCann of Eden Valley, Tammy (and Jon) Schmidt of St. Michael, Tom (and Marge) Phillipp of Cold Spring, Tina (and boyfriend Mike Stern) Phillipp of Paynesville, and Terri Phillipp of Darwin.
