Granola

4 cups oatmeal
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup white flour
1 cup bran
1 TBSP. salt
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup chopped favorite nuts (optional)
1 cup cracked wheat or 3 cups whole what flour
1 cup wheat germ
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup coconut (optional)
1 cup raisins (optional)
1 cup oil
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup water
1 TBSP. vanilla
Combine all dry ingredients. Add liquid ingredients; mix very well. Spread on jelly roll pans and bake in slow oven (150-200 degrees) 1 1/2 hours, turning each 1/2 hour. Store in air-tight containers. Eat as a snack or with milk and fruit.
