Norwegian Meatballs

1 1/2 lbs. ground round steak
1/4 lbs. veal, ground
1/2 lb. ground pork
1 beaten egg
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. bread crumbs
Salt, pepper, and allspice
Mix grounds meet together with 1/2 teaspoon salt, a little pepper and allspice. Then add beaten egg 1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cup bread crumbs. Form into balls and brown in 2 tablespoons drippings or butter, turning as they brown. Cover and let simmer on low heat for 1 hour.
