Escalloped Asparagus

1 can asparagus
4 Hard Boiled eggs
1 T. flour
1/4 c. butter
1 c. milk
1/2 c. grated cheese
Salt and pepper
Make cream sauce of flour, milk, and 1 tablespoon of the butter. Put layer of drained asparagus into buttered baking dish; sprinkle with chopped egg. Dot with butter; add salt and pepper. Repeat until dish is full, having asparagus on top. Pour cream sauce over asparagus in dish; cover with crumbs and rest of butter. Sprinkle with cheese; cover and bake 15 minutes, then uncover and brown in oven.
