1 stick butter
1/2 cup flour
1-2 cups milk
about 1 cup mozarella cheese, shredded
salt to taste
In a saucepan or frypan, over medium-low heat, melt the butter. Stir or whisk in flour; let it bubble and cook for a minute or two.
Add milk, about 1/2 cup at a time; stir well and let thicken. Add more milk and repeat until thickened sauce is the consistency you want.
Stir in shredded cheese until smooth and thoroughly melted.
