The American Red Cross will be in Watkins at the Village Hall from 1-7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, for a blood drive. During the holidays, every one is looking for the perfect gift idea. For a patient in need, that gift could be a blood donation. Every day people in our community are helped by donors. Please consider donating.

There are two easy ways to make an appointment:

• Go to www.redcrossblood.org, and put in 55389, the zip code for Watkins, and schedule your appointment.

• Call Theresia at (320) 764-7251, or Betty at (320) 764-9163.

Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are always welcome.
